Bio: I am a Jamaican national currently living and working in Jamaica; the founder and current managing partner of PAUL HAY Capital Projects: a management consultancy established in 1998, based in Kingston Jamaica, with a vision of providing strategic planning and implementation services to organizations interested in designing, constructing, or altering buildings in the Caribbean.
My experience is varied: from high school teacher of physics & technical drawing, to architectural draftsman, to lecturer of building services to undergraduate architecture students. I have also been involved in the management of a small firm of electrical contractors, and have been actively involved in the drafting of Jamaica's Energy Efficiency Building Code.
Initially employed in public sector: liasing with international donor agencies and specialist consultants; I later entered the private sector: leading local multi-disciplinary design teams.
